Drug Take Back Committee

Meets as needed in advance of the annual April and October National DEA Drug Take-Back Events. The committee helps implement our opioid prevention grant by planning and hosting disposal sites accepting unused, expired and unwanted prescription or over-the-counter medications for safe, free disposal in Clark, Skamania and Klickitat counties. To support these efforts contact kelley.groen@esd112.org.

Youth Substance Use Prevention Committee

Meets the third Tuesday monthly from 2:30-4pm to connect, partner, and implement Clark County prevention projects. Parents, educators, youth-serving organizations and more get updates on the latest prevention science and news, work on projects such as responsible retailers guidelines, cannabis point of purchase campaigns and more. All are welcome to attend. Contact Christopher.belisle@esd112.org.

Youth Empowerment Project

Now recruiting! Youth Empowerment Project members inform our efforts with youth voice, meeting on alternate dates for two hours once a month. This is a safe space for teens ages 13-18 interested in amplifying prevention efforts with their peers. Members support the Youth Now initiative, gain marketing and social media experience as well as attend leadership development and skill building events. Youth must complete an application by emailing Christopher.belisle@esd112.org.
