The Rural Network, a group of volunteers and leaders across Washington state who work towards building resiliency and preventing youth substance misuse in rural communities, are hosting their first annual Rural Prevention Conference September 22 – 23 at the Yakima Convention Center.

We received the 2021 Coalition of Excellence Award presented by CADCA’s Got Outcomes program. This honor recognizes coalitions that achieve measurable success in community-level substance misuse related outcomes by implementing a comprehensive and feasible plan guided by local data.

We received the 2021 Blue Ribbon recognition presented by CADCA’s Got Outcomes program. This credential is awarded to high performing coalitions who do an exceptional job creating a foundation for their work, and developing comprehensive plans.

Prevent is a youth substance abuse prevention coalition working for healthy, thriving, and substance-free communities in Clark, Klickitat and Skamania counties. Prevent implements initiatives for rural communities across Washington State.

Prevent has been connecting and supporting communities since 2003. Efforts are funded by state and federal grants, made possible by volunteers like you.
